Welcome to DAY THREE of
Day Three! It’s day three of the blogoversary, and today we’ve got Rhiannon Hart on the blog. Rhiannon is the author of Blood Song, a YA paranormal/fantasy romance that’s published by Random House Australia. I managed to grab a copy of the book over here in the States and completely fell in love with the independent, stubborn Zeraphina, the mysterious, intimidating Rodden, the fantastic world Rhiannon has created, the originality and the compelling constantly-at-each-other’s-throats-yet-I-find-you-completely-fascinating relationship between the two main characters. The sequel, Blood Storm releases August 8th, and I’m just beside myself with excitement and can’t wait for the day that book shows up in my mailbox. So what’s it about, you ask?
Well, I’ll tell you…
I wanted to turn but I was held captive by the song on the wind. I’m coming, I told the voices. Please, wait for me.
When her sister becomes betrothed to a prince in a northern nation, Zeraphina’s only consolations are that her loyal animal companions are by her side – and that her burning hunger to travel north is finally being sated.
Already her black hair and pale eyes mark her out as different, but now Zeraphina must be even more careful to keep her secret safe. Craving blood is not considered normal behaviour for anyone, let alone a princess. So when the king’s advisor, Rodden, seems to know more about her condition than she does, Zeraphina is determined to find out more.
Zeraphina must be willing to sacrifice everything if she’s to uncover the truth – but what if the truth is beyond her worst nightmares?
So, today I’m interviewing Princess Lilith, wife of Prince Amis of Pergamia and sister to Princess Zeraphina, for the inside scoop on all things Pergamian, her thoughts on the enigma that is Rodden, but most of all, an insider’s view of Amentia’s youngest princess. So without further ado, my interview with Lilith…

A little bit about Rhiannon…
Rhiannon Hart remembers writing before she could read, puzzling over the strange squiggles in Jeremiah and the Dark Woods by Janet and Alan Ahlberg and putting her own words in their places. Her first love was Jareth the Goblin King at the tender age of eight. She wrote fan fiction in high school but she’d never admit to it out loud, so don’t ask. When she’s not reading or writing she is belly dancing, chasing after other people’s cats, or putting the pedal to the floor at her sewing machine. She grew up in north-western Australia and currently resides in Melbourne, where she works in marketing. Rhiannon has been published in the Australian Book Review, Magpies and Viewpoint and blogs at www.rhiannon-hart.blogspot.com.

I think I am more like Zeraphina.
I’d say I’m more like Princess Zeraphina. I crave solitude and I’d love the company of pets and a favorite hobby over people who are more social than I am.
Lilith (the feminine one who enjoys court life)
I’m very much like Zeraphina. I prefer to do things alone and I love animals!
I believe I’m more like Zeraphina. I’m not that feminine, I’d rather be outside getting dirty and having fun
Zeraphina.
Zeraphina is exactly like me!
I think I am more like Zeraphina. I love being alone doing what I love to do than going to whatever social event everyone else is going to.
I am more like Zeraphina.
Zeraphina.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
I would be most like Lilith. However, I do like to be alone as well.
I’m more of Zeraphina.
I am definitely more like Zaraphina! Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win!
Definitely Zeraphina as I’d rather be outdoors than indoors anytime.
Zeraphina
Absolutely Zeraphina!
I guess I’d be more like Zeraphina. I like animals, and I love archery and weapons. While I am also very social, I would prefer the former than the latter.
Thanks for the interview and giveaway!
Congrats on the blogoversary accomplishment Dani!!!
Alyssa Susanna
I would have to say that I am defiantly more like Zeraphina. I could not stand to be the center of attention like Lilith.
I’m more like Zeraphina, a like being alone and avoiding attention.
I think I’m more like Zeraphina. I think Lilith is pretty funny though.
Thank you so much for the awesome giveaway! I loved the first book! 😀
I’d say I’m more like…Lilaphina. I love the courting life but I do like my solitude to use my bow and arror or to read at times too.
Honestly I would have to say that it depends on the day :)!!! Sometimes I like to be a little bit of a loner and remove my self form everyone to read a good book or something like that. Then there are other days when I want to go and hang out with people and never be left alone :)!!!!
I’m definitely more like Zeraphina. There’s only so much I’d be able to stand being on display as a princess. I would hate the politics and the falseness (is that a word?) of the people.
Definitely more like Zeraphina!
I’m totally more like Zeraphina for sure. Thanks so much for the giveaway Dani! Loved the interview.
Zeraphina
I think I am more like Zeraphina

Thanks for the giveaway!

Zeraphina for me I love to just hang out with my puppies
Zeraphina. I’d rather do my own thing most of the time.
Zeraphina because I’m a bit of a loner
I am more like Zeraphina. I actually have the first in the series so I would really like to win a Pre-Order of the second book. I can’t wait till it comes out. Thanks for the giveaway.

I think I’m more like Zeraphina, like a lonely wolf
Besides, I love staying with animals!
Definitely Zeraphina! And I love bugs too:)
I would say I am more like Zeraphina, she’s just awesome
I think like Zeraphina because in the days we live in it’s so hard to imagine a woman being like Lilith.
I think I would be like Zeraphina
zeraphina….coz i love pets and lil’ bit loner… ;p
Probably Zeraphina.
zeraphina – i like to be left alone – preferably with a book
I’m definitely more like Zeraphina.
I’m very independent and very much value my time alone.
I am definitely more like Zeraphina- a loner, independent and would rather be with my animals
I’m more like Zeraphina.
I am absolutely more like Zeraphina. I have a tendency to be a loner. I love getting out in the yard with all 3 of my big old bumbling dogs and rolling around with them. Throw them a ball. I wouldn’t be able to handle being a princess and all of the dresses and rules, and back straights, chin ups. Yeah, that is not me in the least! What about you Dani?
I’m more like Zeraphina.
Zeraphina, since I like animals AND archery! Two thumbs up!
i think i’m more like lilith. i’m not necessarily really feminine but i love being surrounded by other people more than being off by myself.
zeraphina all the way. lol. animal lover and lover of archery.
Probably Zeraphina.
Zeraphina. I love the company of my pets.
I think Zeraphine, I could got bored of court!
I’m more like Lilith.
I would be more like Zeraphina, except for the archery. 😀
I am more like Zeraphina.
Definetly Zeraphina 😀
Definitely more like Zeraphina – always wanted to be an archer!!
ZERAPHINA!
Zeraphina! Court life sounds stressful and boring! Archery is cool and sounds fun!
I’m more like Zeraphina. I doubt I’ll enjoy court life but company of pets sound great!
I think I’m more like Zeraphina!
