“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine.
So usually Waiting on Wednesday is JUST me (Me as in Dani <waves>)… but this WoW, Heather’s joining me with her pre-publication pick for the week. The more the merrier! So here we go y’all…
The Twisted Tragedy of Miss Natalie Stewart
by Leanna Renee Hieber
Expected Publication: November 1, 2012
For Natalie Stewart, a normal life has never seemed so far away. Her only solace, Lord Jonathan Denbury, is wanted for murder. To clear his name, Denbury must return to England and assume the role of his demon doppelganger. But Natalie begins to doubt his true motives, especially as a new gentleman begins whispering in her ear. Natalie and Denbury may be able to visit each other in their dreams, but they can’t escape the darkening shadows. Amid spontaneous explosions, friends turned enemies and dangerous secrets revealed, there’s still a demon who has Natalie’s scent, and someone is trying to resurrect the ultimate evil.
Why do I want to read this book? Lord Denbury and his Denburyliciousness. Need I say more?

by Ann Aguirre
Expected Publication: September 4, 2012
Deuce’s whole world has changed. Down below, she was considered an adult. Now, topside in a town called Salvation, she’s a brat in need of training in the eyes of the townsfolk. She doesn’t fit in with the other girls: Deuce only knows how to fight.
To make matters worse, her Hunter partner, Fade, keeps Deuce at a distance. Her feelings for Fade haven’t changed, but he seems not to want her around anymore. Confused and lonely, she starts looking for a way out.
Deuce signs up to serve in the summer patrols—those who make sure the planters can work the fields without danger. It should be routine, but things have been changing on the surface, just as they did below ground. The Freaks have grown smarter. They’re watching. Waiting. Planning. The monsters don’t intend to let Salvation survive, and it may take a girl like Deuce to turn back the tide.
…need more zombies…
Ok so I’m totally not one of those zombie people…I don’t get the whole “Me eatz brains” and “uhhhhghhhghhh…” stuff. However, Enclave, the first in Ann Aguirre’s beautiful series, was completely made of awesome and I cannot wait for the next segment of the story! Oh goodness please let Deuce pick Fade!!! PLEASE GIVE ME THIS BOOK and put me out of my misery!
Heather says, add Enclave and then Outpost to your TBR list…go on, you know you want to!
So what are you looking forward to this week?
I am so ready for The Twisted Tragedy of Natalie Stewart!
