1.) So, this past week I got about a quarter of the way through CoLS. It’s SO good so far. I think I’m dragging my feet on purpose though. Why? I don’t want it to end. And Cassandra’s kind of known for her “WHA!?!?!” cliffhangery endings. So, I guess you could say… I’m savoring this one.
This week I read… A LOT. Which was awesome. I continued my Samantha Young marathon from last week with Moon Spell and River Cast, books 1 & 2 from The Tale of Lunarmorte series. Surprisingly, I love them. Why is it surprising? ‘Cause they’re about werewolves, and I’m not usually a fan of the hairy, alpha male-like shapeshifters. I also read Charles by Annie Miles and Twist Literary… super interesting and original — an Upper YA murder mystery meets Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars with a hint of Veronica Mars. I can’t wait to read the rest of that series. I also read the first two novelettes in the Creepy Hollow series, Guardian and Labyrinth. It’s about kick-butt faeries and the two main characters in that one are fantastic. And lastly, I picked up The Unofficial Zach Warren Fan Club, because it sounded cute… childhood crush turned enemy ends up being your stepsibling in college? It WAS cute, despite being a bit contrived and needing a bit more character development.

Review of Alibi: Charles HERE.
2.) So, I’m keeping on with CoLS this week. I’ll try not to drag my heels too much longer.
What are you reading this week?
I read City of Lost Souls last week too. It was decent but I didn’t like the differences in Jace and the whole Sebastian persona was just odd. However this one didn’t have too bad of an ending, not nearly as make you want to scream as the last one. Congrats on the great week of reading. I’m in a read-a-thon this week and still haven’t done that great myself so I’m very impressed at your accomplishments for the week
Anyway enjoy the rest of City of Lost Souls and happy reading
Holy God! you have read so many books this week! Hope I can read that lot someday, the more I read are 3 books a week…
Anyway, hope you are able to read the Soul Screamers series someday! And hope you love CoLS. I’m dying to read it!!!
And Charles… mmm… I remember someone talking about some mouth! lol!
Happy reading!!
Wow, you really did read _a_lot_! And can’t wait to read CoLS, probably need to buy it ASAP 😀
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for stopping by!
Monaliz @ Mind Reading?
I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but I want to read Alibi. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
And… don’t worry too much about CoLS. It’s a long book! And I’m sure you’ll finish it up real soon (and then you’ll spoil me and save me from having to read through book 4 before I decide whether I need to continue on the series!)
Good luck and Happy Reading!
Wow! I mean just WOW! You really had a productive reading week! I agree with you about the ““WHA!?!?!” cliffhangery endings”. That’s why I’m dreading to read CoFA and CoLS. But one day, one day.
Congratulations Dani! You always have a good productive week
I’m loving CoLS too and I’m more than halfway through the book now. I’m reading it slowly too… lol. I’m sure you know why… well other than being too busy, I want to savor every moment so I don’t miss anything… Good luck to us, though I bet we don’t need it in CoLS. It’s just… well, GOOD. =)
