1.) Three weeks in a row. Booyah. So what did I read last week? Well, I did finish my TBR Intervention choice — Chameleon by Cidney Swanson — and it was wonderful (but not reviewed yet)… and I’m currently half-way through the next book in that series, Unfurl, and it has been non-stop awesomeness so far I also received Dark Eyes from Around the World Book Tours, managed to fit that one into my reading schedule for the week too. It was a pretty awesome and gritty mystery… the link to my review is below the book cover images.

2.) So… I’m not reading a dusty book this week, which I know kinda goes against the purpose of this challenge…. but the book, in theory has been on my virtual TBR for quite some time. I have this weekend ENTIRELY to myself. No kids. No husband. No obligations. And what do I plan to do with my new-found freedom? Call me boring, but I’m going to enjoy the extremely rare amount of QUIET, curl up and the couch and read. So in anticipation of this weekend, I picked up something entirely new for myself that I’ve been dying to get my hands on for the last year and a half:
It’s one thing to find out you’re a vampire princess. It’s a whole other thing to actually rule. Newly married Jessica Packwood is having a hard enough time feeling regal with her husband, Lucius, at her side. But when evidence in the murder of a powerful elder points to Lucius, sending him into solitary confinement, Jessica is suddenly on her own. Determined to clear her husband’s name, Jessica launches into a full-scale investigation, but hallucinations and nightmares of betrayal keep getting in her way. Jessica knows that with no blood to drink, Lucius’s time is running out. Can she figure out who the real killer is—and whom she can trust—before it’s too late? [/box]
So what are you reading this week?

I haven’t read any of the books you listed…I probably need to though. LOL. I have read Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side and enjoyed it so I need to read the next one sometime soon.
Enjoy your time alone. I know I cherish what little I get!

I know how you feel, because I have this Jessica on my wishlist bookshelf on Goodreads for awhile.
I haven’t read any of the others but the covers are beautiful.

Your TBR looks good! I just picked up the first one in this series because Chapters had the HC on sale for $4! I can’t wait to check it out. Good luck!
I have been meaning to start that series. I need to dust the first book off my TBR pile!
