Welcome to the TBR Intervention Challenge!

1.) Two weeks in a row. Booyah. Totally read my Intervention book, and two others. Now just need to write a few reviews…haha……… ha. So what did I read? OBSIDIAN was my challenge choice for the week. I hadn’t read any Jennifer Armentrout before and why??? Why did I not pick her books up sooner? Seriously. This author knows how to build chemistry and knows how to maintain some sizzling romantic tension. Daemon….OMIGOSH. If you’re in the mood for a good romance, pick this one up. Review will hopefully be up later today. Next up was HEAVEN by Christoph Marzi. A book that was originally released in Germany and is being released in English by UK publishers, Orchard Books. It’s a really interesting urban fantasy/fairytale, set in the heart of London about a girl with a stolen heart and the boy who tries to help her get it back. Lastly, I read FAMILY MAGIC. A wonderful story about a teenage witch who has absolutely no desire to be a witch, whose circumstances force her to choose between the life she wants and the life she was born to.

2.) For next week, I’ve had CHAMELEON by Cidney Swanson sitting on my Kindle bookshelf since the beginning of October, and on my physical bookshelf (yay!) since Christmas. And I’ve been wanting to read it. It’s spent almost four months on the old TBR stack, and it’s time to spend some quality time with it. So… I will!
Sixteen-year-old Samantha Ruiz has a lot on her mind. The crush who kissed her but changed his mind. The BFF who thinks Sam is in an abusive relationship. The geneticist who wanted Sam dead but now wants her ALIVE. And of course, Sam’s still dealing with a tendency to disappear into thin air.
When Sam learns of her nemesis Helmann’s Nazi-like plan to establish a Thousand-Year Reign, she’s determined to fight him. Along with Will and Mickie, Sam flees to France to meet Sir Walter—their best hope for stopping Helmann’s brave new world. But Sam isn’t any safer in France. Someone is following her. Someone invisible. Sam will have to figure out how to hide from an enemy she can’t even see. [/box]

So what are you reading this week?
Wow, what a productive week! I’m super glad you read and enjoyed so many books, Dani! I’m specially interested in the German book – I’ve never read a book that’s been translated into English!
I hope you’ll enjoy Chameleon too. It looks kind of complex, it’s a sequel, no? Must look it up now…
Hope you enjoy it anyway! Happy reading!
Ron

I think I am going to have to read OBSIDIAN now because I haven’t read any books by that author and you make a good case that I should!
