1 & 2.) So… did not get to finish Tempest this past week, though I did get it started. The unfortunate reality of reading so many books LAST week is that this week I wanted to write reviews. I don’t like a lot of books or time to pass between the time I finish a book and write a review for it. But Christmastime is murder on blogging productivity, as I didn’t get much of either — reading OR writing — done.
But ANYWAY, Tempest. I’m really liking it so far and I am keeping it as my TBRIC book for the coming week! I like that it has a male protagonist, and I like the whole Butterfly Effect feel that it’s got going on. I’m interested to see how it all plays out, and if figuring out the time travel will have me reaching for my Advil. Really good so far.
So what are reading this week?
Hmm I didn’t know that the main protagonist is a boy! That’s interesting. I just hope that he’s still very manly and not sound like a girl. I had that feeling when I read Beautiful Catures before….
I want Tempest and it’s on my most anticipated list. Good luck with it and I hope you’ll finish it on time for the next TBRIC. I’m looking forward to your review of this book 😉
Xoxo!
I rally enjoyed my first TBR intervention. Thanks, Dani, for stopping by my blog!
I’m very excited to read Tempest. Hope you end up liking it!
This is a great idea, I am joining in.
I’m so glad you’re liking Tempest, I’ve read some discouraging reviews and it’s good to know that someone liked it. I’ll probably read it after all, but I’ll wait for your final thoughts. We’re a little late this week (again), but we made it after all.
Happy reading
Male lead… You know, sometimes I feel like a stalker, hunting down books with male leads in a methodical spree…
Anyway! I’m glad you’re enjoying it for now, and yes: Christmas is NOT the best time for productivity. I think it’s almost worse than summer – at least for me. During summer holidays, since I leave my internet connection behind, I get a lot of reading done at the very least, which feels more productive. This time? I just keep floundering around and trying to keep up until the first weeks of january are behind my back.
All that rambling just so you know that you’re not alone, and that you’ve got all my support!
Hope you have a great week, and that you’ll finish and love tempest.

I’m almost finished with this one. I’m really liking it, but I’m a total time travel geek. lol. And yeah, this time of year is CRAZY.
I really don’t go for books with male leads.. and that will be calling myself a hypocrite or something since my favorite books are the Harry Potter series and the Lord of the Rings trilogy – all with male leads. Yet, I think my aversion is only applied to YA reads.
Anyway, we’ll finish our books! We will!
