1.) I finished only one book from my challenge post last week, and that was Cinder by Marissa Meyer. For those of you wondering how it was…. IT WAS AWESOME. Meyer’s telling was fresh, original, clever, and so wonderfully sci-fi. I love it and highly recommend it if fairytale re-tellings are up your particular alley. I recommend it even if they aren’t. 😉 I also finished a book I received in the mail for review, Unbreakable Love by Angela Carling. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did Cinder. I do not have reviews up for either of these books yet, but should at some point this week.
OH… I’ve also gotten an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming second book in The von Strassenberg Saga, The BlueStocking Girl by Gwenn Wright.
It. Is. Fantastic. And for me, totally worth the wait. So if you haven’t read the first book, Filter, hurry up! The BlueStocking Girl is almost here!
So that’s what I’ve been reading this week!
2.) So… clearly, over-ambition strikes again. This week, I will keep it simple. I have a lovely, little book I received for review called Wander Dust by Michelle Warren. I’ve had it for weeks and have been dying to start it, but life keeps intervening. So I WILL read this ONE book THIS WEEK. I will.
So what are reading this week?
I have Cinder on my TBR so I am so happy to see you thought it was awesome! I did not finish mine because my daughter is in town. I did leave an update though. Good luck with Wander Dust. It looks good. I like the cover – reminds me of when I was young. LOL. Have an awesome week!
Cinder is popping up a lot this couple of weeks. Great that you loved it.

Oh my… I’m dying to read Cinder!! Thanks for the recommendation.
I didn’t know Wander Dust but I swear, I know the girl of the cover… I have seen her before… in other cover!
Happy reading!!
I am so glad you read and enjoyed Cinder. I can’t wait to start that one soon. Good luck with your read this week.
Here is my TBR.
Congratulations with the two books even though you didn’t liked Unbreakable Love much. But CInder really looks good and I’m happy that you enjoyed it. Wander Dust has a pretty cover, I hope it’s as good as it is. The Bluestocking Girl looks like a suspense read (isn’t it? hehe) I don’t think I’m ready for scary reads…. I haven’t heard of it before though…
Pity that you didn’t like Unbreakable Love that much… the cover is awesome! Still, you finished, so congrats!
Wander Dust has been popping up a lot, but I don’t really know much about it. I hope you’ll like it, and will be looking forward to your opinion on it!
Best luck, and happy reading!
