Welcome to the kick-off of the TBR Intervention Challenge!

1.) In the past two weeks, one of the books that’s been on my TBR list for a long time — one I’ve begun and put down, one I just haven’t been able to finish for some unfathomable reason — is Divergent by Veronica Roth. And I finally finished it last week. Yay, Me!
I have not reviewed it yet, but I did love it. I thought the society was interesting, Tris is a character I’m still puzzling out, and Four is now a favorite book boy. The fact that it is set in a future dystopian Chicago left me with many questions about how the United States that I know has fallen and what’s beyond their little corner of the world. I thought the Factions was an interesting way to go with the governmental structure — something that started out so noble devolving because the of the imperfect nature of man. I’ll review this soon, I promise 😉
2.) My next book that I’m going to commit to read over the next week or two is a book that’s been sitting on my virtual TBR for a year or more, but that has been on my actual shelf for a little over two months thanks to Borders… and that book is Aurelia by Anne Osterlund.
So what dusty, ‘ole book are you going to read this week?
Hi Dani!
I can’t believe you put down Divergent before, but I’m glad that you finally read it. It’s one of the best book I’ve read ever! Definitely one of my favorites! I love love love love Four and Tris is an amazing heroine! I love her more than Katniss of Hunger Games! (have you read this book yet?). Can’t wait for Insurgent! Anyway, I think I’ve seen Aurelia before but I don’t remember where. I think it’s a good book, good luck with it! I hope you’ll be able to enjoy as well as finish this book. I guess this TBRIC will make a difference in my reading life, since I’m getting excited to read my old books which is unusual! Xoxo!!
I absolutely loved Divergent. I read it in one sitting! And I definitely agree with you about the amazingness of Four. I am glad to hear that enjoyment was not what held you up on finishing it.
As for Aurelia, I haven’t heard of it but it sounds promising. I look forward to hearing what you thought of it once you are done. I hope that you enjoy it. Have a great day!
I haven’t heard of Aurelia by Anne Osterlund until now. I hope that you like Divergent as much as I did.

My TBR Intervention
Hey Dani! So far so good, eh? Well, you started ahead and read something you’ve been meaning to, well, read.
Divergent is on my TBR and languishing there for the last month. I’ve heard about Aurelia and they said it’s good. Well, looking forward to what your opinion is about it.
been seeing divergent everywhere but i didnt give it a second glance because i didn’t like the cover that much, but i’ll check it out. Also your second books seems interesting! looks like a historic, mystery, thriller!
enjoy your readings!
I just bought a copy of Aurelia this week, after having it on my to read list for months. I’ll be looking forward to reading your review!
I haven’t read Divergent yet. I haven’t really decided if I want to or not. I probably will one day and I will be disappointed that I didn’t read it sooner. That’s what always happens to me. Thanks for stopping by Better Read Than Dead

I love Divergent! I’m glad you like it.
I haven’t hear anything about Aurelia, thanks for sharing, I will be watching for it now!
Happy reading!
i read Divergent but didnt like it cause Tris annoyed me and was careless . AND about her self unlike Katniss Everdeen.
Ok book but nowhere near the auwsumness of HG and i found Tris realy selfish and annoying her perents were the real heroes though.
