What I’ve read/am reading:
Little Knife – Another fantastic Grisha tale. REVIEW
The Iron Traitor – Cannot wait to see what happens next! REVIEW
Gilded Ashes – With the exception of Cinder, this maybe my favorite Cinderella retelling. REVIEW
Strange and Ever After – Oh… I LOVE the ongoing tension between Eleanor and, well, pretty much everyone. About a 1/3 of the way through this one.
The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet – *happy sigh* A fantastic companion novel to The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Mirror X – Still working my way through this one, but it’s interesting. Check back on Friday for a review.

Read/Reading this week:
The Mortal Enchantment–Meh, it was ok.
The Beautiful and The Cursed–I LOVED THIS BOOK! I had a couple issues at the beginning but I truly loved it.
Marco’s Story–This was really interesting. I liked getting to know Marco and some of his motivations.
Breakable–Very cool to get Lucas’s perspective but not as good as Easy.
Accessible Mathematics–very useful text for educators on teaching mathematics from a real-world context perspective.
This We Believe–this is a philosophy of best practices in middle childhood education. Therefore, it’s useful, straightforward and not terribly boring, but it’s not earth-shattering either.
Intro to Middle School–This book was ok. It’s pretty straightforward and not mind-numbing, but it wasn’t all that practical. I feel like it could have been called Intro to Teaching because very few of the things said in the book were just true of Middle Schoolers.
Managing Your Classroom with Heart–Interesting
