Welcome to Refracted Light’s
None. Nada. Zip.
But I have a huge backlog of reviews that need published and written. Stay tuned, y’all.
Heather & I went to the Southern Kentucky Book Festival last weekend, and got to see a bunch of authors we love, like Katie McGarry, Kelly Creagh, Julie Kagawa, C.J. Redwine, Melissa Landers, as well as a bunch of authors we haven’t read before, but will! Besides a large signing, there were a bunch of fantastic panels to sit in on (which I will try to fill y’all in on at a later date), and Heather, Aly and I actually got to be in the SAME GEOGRAPHICAL VICINITY for a couple days. It was awesome. Top (YA Contemporary Panel; L to R): Julie Anne Lindsey, Michelle Madow, Lauren Morrill, Alecia Whitaker, Jenny Hubbard, Katie McGarry, Karen Ann Hopkins Bottom Left (YA Paranormal Panel; L to R): Gwenda Bond, Julie Kagawa, CJ Redwine, Bethany Griffin, Kelly Creagh Bottom Right (YA Paranormal Panel; L to R): Julie Kagawa & CJ Redwine – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Heather & I… The three of us!
What I’ve read/am reading:
Forgiven – A cute and sweet prequel to Rachel Morgan’s upcoming Trouble series. Review to come soon!
The Iron Traitor – Almost done. This book has been SO GOOD thus far. I love how Ethan’s character has progressed.
The Dark Unwinding – So intriguing. So creepy.
