Welcome to Refracted Light’s
This week’s reviews:
The Dark Unwinding by Sharon Cameron (Heather)
Heartbeat by Elizabeth Scott (Dani)
Pawn by Aimee Carter (Snippet Review; Heather)
Read/reading this week:
I had a very contemporary week this week…
Heartbeat – Good and made me tear up countless times. but some of the poignancy got a little lost in Emma’s constant repetition. REVIEW
Finding It – Wow. Every Cora Carmack book just gets a little bit better than the one before, and I loved Kelsey & Jackson’s story. FYI – This one was a bit more mature than the previous Losing It books.
Run For The Roses – An extremely cute novella about horses, first love and self-discovery.
Wild Cards – Eh. I just wasn’t feeling it between Derek & Ashtyn. And really, I never connected with Ashtyn. Also the language felt a bit excessive, and it was far more mature than I was expecting.
Crash Into You – Freaking. Amazing. (So far)

Tandem–The sci-fi chick in me was absolutely captivated by this story. I mean, parallel universes? Yes, please!
