Welcome to Refracted Light’s
Happy Harlequin Teen Halloween!
Today, we’re featuring Dawn Metcalf and her fantastic tale of the Twixt, Indelible. With a wonderfully dark and atmospheric world, creatures that range from weird to terrifying, and plenty of creepiness, Indelible makes for a great Halloweenish read. But, that aside, Ink is here with us today for an entirely different kind of scary thing, being in love.
Some things are permanent. Indelible. And they cannot be changed back. Joy Malone learns this the night she sees a stranger with all-black eyes across a crowded room—right before the mystery boy tries to cut out her eye. Instead, the wound accidentally marks her as property of Indelible Ink, and this dangerous mistake thrusts Joy into an incomprehensible world—a world of monsters at the window, glowing girls on the doorstep, and a life that will never be the same. Now, Joy must pretend to be Ink’s chosen one—his helper, his love, his something for the foreseeable future…and failure to be convincing means a painful death for them both. Swept into a world of monsters, illusion, immortal honor and revenge, Joy discovers that sometimes, there are no mistakes. Somewhere between reality and myth lies… THE TWIXT

**Rachelle**
Don’t really read scary books; like paranormals
What I love about scary books is the suspense and thrill behind every corner!
Not a huge fan of scary books, but my brother is..thanks for the chance to win!
Joey J.
I like how they scare you at night a little bit!
This book sounds amazing and I can’t wait to read it! Paranormal books are definitely my favorite, so this sounds like a great addition to my books
I prefer paranormal books to truly scary books. I don’t see paranormal books as being scary but I really like them!
I love both paranormal and scary books.
I love paranormal, but I love scary books even more. There’s just something about the paranoia you get after reading a scary novel that I love! Thanks for the giveaway!
I love the paranormal genre. So much imagination and creativity—and so much fun to read. (Great revamp of your blog design, Dani!)
I love scary stories, I love the exciting fear they put in me.
Paranormal books are also my favorite reads.
I am sorry if this comes up as my second comment but I am not sure if my first one published and I am just being safe
I thought your post was cute <3 Love is scary but the things worth while are never boring right? As for the paranormal vs. scary I like both but LOVE when they are mixed in together and done well
I like the excitement I get from reading scary stories. As long as it’s not so scary it keeps me awake at night! Thank you for the giveaway.
I grew up on Alfred Hitchcock, Vincent Price and Bella Lugosi–OF COURSE I love the paranormal, the creepy, the odd and truly scary:)) Indelible looks like something that my daughter (Yes, she loves horror just like I do) would LOVE!!
I love scary books because I am a glutton for punishment. lol. Plus, I grew up on Fear Street novels. 😀
