Weekly Highlights…
Read this week:
And because I was editing a wedding, I listened to EVEN MORE Doctor Who…
Valkyrie Symptoms – Not a lot happens, but it intrigued me. Also, after reading Valkyrie Rising, it was nice to see inside Tuck’s head, and nice knowing in advance where he’s coming from before seeing everything from Ellie’s perspective.
Valkyrie Rising – I had a few issues with it, but it was interesting. REVIEW
Doctor Who: Night of the Humans – Characterization was really off, but the story and original characters were interesting.
Doctor Who: Only Human – This one was fun and felt very much like a story from the RTD-era — chilling, ridiculous, funny, heartbreaking, thought-provoking, and inspiring a curiosity that makes you wish you could take a peek into the viewfinder of humanity’s future as the Doctor knows it to be. Also, Anthony Head is a fantastic narrator.
Doctor Who: Dead of Winter – The beginning felt a bit muddled and the characterization is off, but a twist about halfway through has made it a lot more exciting.
