Weekly Highlights…
Read this week:
And because I had MORE Photoshoppy stuff to do this week, I listened to MORE Doctor Who…
A Clockwork Fairytale – I had a lot of issues with this one — weak heroine, a hero I could never quite get a read on, surfacey Steampunk that never really had any impact on the wordbuilding, and a weird romance.
iFrankenstein – An incredibly unique, wonderfully effective, culturally relevant storytelling format that brings a classic to life… pun intended.
Fangirl – Possibly the best NA I’ve read in a very, very, very long time. Cath’s story is absolutely fantastic.
Doctor Who: The Art of Death – Best Doctor Who audio drama I’ve listened to yet. Fantastic narrator and story about a young museum worker bewitched by an impossible sky.
Doctor Who: Paradox Lost – Fun, but even for Doctor Who the ending felt a bit of a stretch.
Doctor Who: The Gemini Contagion – Narrator was “eh.” and not very much happened…
Doctor Who: The Empty House – Racquel Cassidy is a FANTASTIC narrator, she’s got the Doctor, Amy and Rory down pat… and the story was pretty interesting too.
To read next week:
Read this week:
How (Not) To Find a Boyfriend – It’s interesting so far. I’m interested to see how this resolves because the MC has seriously backed herself into a MAJOR corner. And honestly, I sort of want to see her get burned over it. She is treating a lot of people pretty poorly, including herself. We shall see. I’ll report back when I’m done. =)
The Friday Society – I’m intrigued. This has all the makings of epic awesomesauce. I hope it lives up to my expectations!
Prodigy – So far, amazing! =) Wow…love it!

Next week, I’ll be finishing these up (the books above) and reading…I haven’t decided yet. =)
Happy Reading!
I have heard the best things about fangirl. I am happy to see you enjoyed it as well because I always trust your reviews. Great books this week

Oh, thank you so much, Michelle!
Yeah, it seems as though the general consensus is “squee!” for this one, as well it should be.
