“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine.

Expected Publication: Aug. 27, 2013
Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.
After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.
All Katy can do is survive.
Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?
Together, they can face anything.
But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?
And will they even be together?
Why do I want this… need this… crave this? Because of that Niagara Falls of a cliffhanger we were left with in December. Not cool, JLA. Not cool.
Just kidding. Not really. Ok, kinda. No, not really at all.
I just need to know. *crumbles in agony* NEED. TO. KNOW.
Okay so, Opal‘s ending…wowsers, I am seriously curious what lengths my favorite Luxen is willing to go to in order to…Well, that would just be too spoilery. I mean after all Daemon and Katy went through, just to be…Ooops, again too spoilery. Hmmm. What can I say?… Not much. Soooo…suffice it to say, I am thoroughly and completely invested in this series. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I’m really looking forward to finding out what’s next for Katy and Daemon. (Hello – don’t you miss Daemon as much as I do?) We didn’t leave our duo in a great place, so I’m excited to see what new twists and turns JLA has planned for us in Origin.
So… what are you looking forward to this Wednesday?
Ahh!!! Daemon!!! This will be such a fierece book, and I think the cover already tells us that much. Daemon looks pissed here :))
I know! EEEEEEE! It’s gonna be AWESOME!
I can’t wait to get my hands on this. The cliffhanger in Opal killed me. I hope the ending of origin isn’t as stressful
I know. It was a doozy. I’m really looking forward to the dual POV, and I too am hoping JLA goes a little easier on us this time.
I lost interest in this series midway through Opal, but I would like to get caught up, particularly given the upcoming release of Origin. While it has never been my favourite YA series, there’s ordinarily something compulsively readable about Jennifer L. Armentrout’s writing that I can’t seem to put down… Great choice this week! 😀
Great pick. Thanks for sharing
