This week’s reviews:
The Collector by Victoria Scott (Dani)
Vengeance Bound by Justina Ireland (Dani)
An Unlikely Pair: The High School Years
by Carla Krae (Snippet Review; Dani)
The Queen’s Army by Marissa Meyer (Snippet Review; Heather)
Read this week:
Vengeance Bound – Very intriguing main character, but had some issues with story and romance. The link to my review is above.
Of Silk & Fire – Interesting little novella about a girl with no memories and the boy who stole them. A dark love story full of magic and mystery.
Crossing the Line – Katie McGarry knocks another one outta the park. I loved Lila & Lincoln’s story. Flashbulb Review to be posted tomorrow.
Flat-Out Matt – IGreat bonus material, fantastic Matty POV scenes, and an epilogue for FOL. Warning: If you haven’t read FOL, then this novella won’t make much sense. It’s bits and pieces of the story from FOL that those who’ve read it will understand and get excited about, but those who haven’t read FOL won’t have a context for what’s happening.
To read next week:
The Rules… I’ve started this one, and it’s AWESOME. I’m completely in love with it already. BUT I just got BOTH Siege and Storm and Dark Triumph in the mail for an ARC tour, so those have to come first as they’re time sensitive. I’m cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to both of those books. In fact all three of these books are some of my most-anticipated of 2013!
Read this week:
This week I read The Mirrored Shard. Yep that’s it, and so far it’s awesome. I’ve just been running all over town with my Mama trying to get stuff done for The Little Boutique we’re opening up. Yay!
To read next week:
Next week I’m going to read The Eternity Cure and quite possibly The Madman’s Daughter. Or perhaps some other wonderful. Who knows? =)
Happy Reading!
Siege and Stooooorm! I’m jealous! The Madman’s Daughter! So many books I want to read. Ahhhh!
Yes, I’ve just started Siege & Storm and it’s awesome so far. And The Madman’s Daughter. If you like gothic horror/mystery or Victorian girls who buck convention, and broody handsome dudes with dark pasts… read this. 😉
