Welcome to Refracted Light’s
This week’s reviews:
Edge of the Falls by Nazarea Andrews (Dani)
The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd (Snippet Review; Dani)
Perfect Scoundrels by Ally Carter (Snippet Review; Heather)
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa (Snippet Reviews; Aly)
Read this week:
Sapphire Sun – Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! This final chapter in Grace & Sebastian’s story is twisty, dark and shocking.
Mortality – An all-around super cool zombie book. Review to come this week!
To read next week:
Clockwork Princess! Germs invaded my house this week, and an unexpected snow day put a slight crimp in my reading schedule, so I never got the chance to start this book! I’ve been terrified of spoilers, so CP is priority numero uno this week! Also… I have a date with Dante… <wink>
Read this week:
This week I read Tomorrow is Today (a short story in the Tempest series) and Vortex by Julie Cross. I’ll probably review Vortex in the next couple weeks so I don’t want to give too much of my opinion away without doing the book justice, but I will say that I really would like to see where this world is going.
I also read Through the Ever Night…which was AWESOME AND AMAZING! Not middle bookish at all!
I started Clockwork Princess and I’m having some serious angst about reading it because of LBS (last book syndrome). I have complete faith in Cassie Clare, and I know she will break my heart into little pieces and then put it back together again. However, this part of the story will be over and I just don’t know if I can handle it! Sigh.
To read next week:
This week I’ll be finishing up Clockwork Princess and reading The Mirrored Shard.
Happy Reading!
I enjoyed Mortality greatly. I am glad you you liked it too and look forward to the review. I hope to be listening to Vortex soon I really loved Tempest. Another review I am anxious to see.
Mortality was good and pretty original, I thought
Love Zarah’s storyline. Hope you enjoy Vortex! Thanks for stopping by!
I also read Through the Ever Night last week! I’m looking forward to Heather’s review! 😀
Yay! I hope you enjoyed it! I know Heather loved it more than the first
I’m about halfway through Clockwork Princess and it’s so good it’s killing me slowly. I know its going to end soon, but just don’t want it to!
