Welcome to Refracted Light!
This week I am participating in the Follow Friday Hop sponsored by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read!
This week’s question:
“How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?”
I’m not sure my reading habits HAVE changed so much since I was a teen, except for maybe the fact that as an adult I have the means and discretion to read more of the books I like. Well, I guess that’s not entirely true. In addition to teen fiction, I read a lot of Inspirational fiction in middle school and high school, which might be surprising. Lori Wick and Gilbert Morris, anyone? Not so much any more. lol
If I were to pick a new genre that I’m in currently in love with it would definitely be Steampunk. “Dirigible” is just a really fun word to read AND say.
You just said it out loud, didn’t you?
See? Fun.

Hiya! I’ve been to your blog a lot but *blushes* apparently never followed….but I am now!
Steampunk isn’t for everybody, but the alternate history, the throwback to the Victorian era, the old school sci-fi aspect is just very appealing to me. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I’ve been curious about steampunk! I hear so much about it lately. Thanks for stopping by my blog. ^_^ Somehow I wasn’t already a follower, so I’m following now, and you just hit 400 because of that! Congrats!

Some good Steampunks that I’ve read recently are The Greyfriar, The Iron Thorn, The Clockwork Angel, and I’m hoping to start Scott Westerfield’s Leviathan soon.
