If you visited this past Friday’s Indie Carnival post, you’ll know that I listed just a few (LOL) Indie books that I’ve really enjoyed in the past. So in celebration of August being my birthday month (Yay, me!) and in conjunction with our YA Indie Carnival I’m hosting a giveaway for ONE (1) winner who can choose the Kindle/Nook ebook of their choice from the list below! If the blog reaches 425 GFC followers before the giveaway ends, I’ll pick an extra winner. If I reach 500 <fingers crossed> I’ll pick a third.
These are all awesome Indies that I have read, some that I have reviewed as well and the one I’m currently reading:

I’ll have to try and see if I can find it

I love e-book givwaways ! Thanks:)
You’re welcome! Good luck!
Great giveaway
Good luck!
I know I’ve read several Indie books but as this is not something that I consider important or not, I doubt I could name one
Who your favorite book boy/girl of all time is- Edward/Bella
Thanks for entering
I don’t really have a favorite indie book that I know of, but I have a favorite indie author and that is Jennifer Laurens. I love her books, but I can’t get a lot of them. I’d love to win Overprotected. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve read a few of her books and Overprotected is my favorite so far!
Good luck!
One of my favorite indie series is the Little Goddess Series by Amy Lane. Not hugely known but I love it!
Thanks for the recommendation Maria!
Good luck in the giveaway!
My favorite book boy/girl of all time is Jane Eyre. Because, you know, I’m not obsessed enough with that book, and I really take her as a really rounded, determined heroine. If not her, then Anne Shirley, because she really made my childhood a happy one.
August is my birthday month too! Yay for the August babies! <3
Hiya Kaye!
Jane is a GOOD one and so is Anne. Both are principled, determined, passionate heroines. And, since you mentioned Anne, Gilbert was one of my childhood crushes…sigh 😉
Happy belated OR early birthday!
And best of luck!
Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice
Mmm…Mr. Darcy. Good choice
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway! I dont have a favorite indie book but ive been wanting to read Jennifer Laurens for quite awhile now. Her books look and sound so good! Thanks for the chance to win!

I really want to read a Season of Eden and Falling for Romeo, but haven’t gotten to them yet. Loved Overprotected, it was just really well done and a great romance
Thanks for the giveaway!! I don’t have a favorite boy or girl!!! Theres too many to list!!
lol…that’s kind of the way I am as well…so maybe it’s not fair that I asked others to name theirs. lol
Thanks for the giveaway. Tore923@aol.com

I am an indie author addict. I found about them about a year ago and have been following like mad. They have offered so many incredibly good reads at prices that are affordable – who can resist. I love Kate Nolan’s Forsaken by Shadow and Carolyn Macray’s Dearly Departed in Deadwood and so, so many more – these just came to mind off the top of my head, but there are so many others
Thank you for the lovely giveaway opportunity.

I know what you mean. I discovered Indie last summer as well and have just been tearing through them…thankfully they are super affordable. lol Thanks for the recommendations! I will look into those!
I don’t know if I’ve read any Indie books… I don’t really know what classifies a book as Indie. My favorite book of the year is The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter, but I don’t think that’s Indie. I’m reading an eBook, Catalyst, right now that is on Smashwords, it’s pretty good so far, but again, I don’t know if that’s Indie either
Jess
Hi Jess! :)Indie authors are those who have chosen to publish their written works independently of a traditional publisher or agent. The authors own their own works, set their own prices, and are responsible for all the management or out-sourcing on the back end such as promotions, networking, web and cover design, editing, formatting and listing their books, tracking their sales, etc. You can usually tell if a book’s an Indie or not by looking at the Amazon info where a publisher would normally be listed.
Thanks so much for entering!
Great contest! I love that you give multiple choices, and that because they’re ebooks they can be sent instantly.
Thank you and good luck! ‘Tis a marvelous digital age that we live in
I didn’t even realize that some of these were Indie books. I haven’t read an Indie book before, but all of Jennifer Laurens books sound amazing. I’ve also heard awesome things about Amanda Hocking’s Hollowland series.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Yup yup! Laurens is a great author and Hollowland is probably my favorite book by Hocking….which is funny ’cause usually zombies aren’t quite my thing

Good luck Candice!
Hmm my favorite indie book to date is The Witches and Warlocks series by Lacey Weatherford!
I’m not sure I’ve heard of that one! Thanks for the recommendation Aydrea!
Good luck!
I don’t think I have a favorite indie book yet – but I’m going to be reading these comments for suggestions! My favorite book girl or boy is possibly one of the hardest questions ever! But one of them is Caitlin from Hold Still by Nina LaCour – and now I’m going to spend all day trying to decide for sure who it is 😉
I’ve got to go with some of the others and say Jennifer Laurens is one of my new favorite indie authors! I’ve been trying to win a copy of Overprotected because I have heard it is really good!! Thanks for a great giveaway:O)
I was trying to think of what’s my favorite indie book until I read another comment here that mentions a series I do own! I previously won e-copies The Witches and Warlocks series by Lacey Weatherford! I still need to finish the series though!
